Website Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

The short version: this policy covers the website foglet.tinyserious.com only. With your consent, the website uses Google Analytics to count visits. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The Foglet iPhone app uses no analytics at all — it has its own app privacy policy, which this page does not change.

Who we are

The website is run by Tiny Serious, the maker of Foglet. You can reach us at [email protected].

What this policy covers

This page applies to foglet.tinyserious.com (and foglet.pages.dev, which serves the same site). It does not apply to the Foglet app. Nothing described here happens inside the app, and nothing collected on the website is linked to your use of the app.

Google Analytics — only if you accept

When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Until you click Accept, Google's analytics script is not loaded at all. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (for users in the EEA and UK) and Google LLC, to understand how the site is used:

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, we do not use the data for advertising, and we do not combine it with any other information about you. We never receive your name, email address or App Store account details through the website.

We keep analytics data for no longer than 14 months. Google processes it under the Google data processing terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies and storage we use

The demo maze keeps no data: it forgets everything when you leave the page. We use no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and no other third-party trackers.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time with (also in the footer of every page). Declining after you had accepted stops analytics immediately and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Legal basis

For visitors in the EEA and UK, analytics cookies are used only on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules). Remembering your consent choice is strictly necessary to respect it. Keeping basic server logs is in our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We don't use this data to identify visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because analytics data is not tied to your name or email, we may be unable to find records about you specifically, but we will always help where we can — email [email protected]. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

The website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Analytics runs only after a visitor accepts cookies.

Changes to this policy

If the way the website handles data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add a new kind of tracking, we will ask for your consent again.
